Just like any other dog breed, pugs also develop 42 adult teeth. When they are 4-5 months old, their baby molars get replaced by permanent molars. And once they cross 6-8 months, your pugs will develop all of their 42 adult teeth with not a single milk tooth left with them.

Blood Stains: You would spot blood stains on your pug’s toys as he would be chewing them to gain relief from the pain, and there is even more possible that you can find baby teeth falling out nearby in that area.
Finding Baby Teeth: This is another common sign that your pug teeth are falling out, as when their teeth fall out, it is lying anywhere around.
Sore Gums: Your pug’s inflamed and red gums are a sure sign of its teething.
Whining: Baby Pug whine or, say, any breed of puppy whine when they are taken to their new homes, but if they start whining after a few weeks, then it’s a confirmed symptom of pug’s teething. Drooling: Once the teething starts for your pug puppy, it will drool more, and you will see saliva everywhere around on its toys, face, beds and sometimes even on the floor.

How to help your pug pub in its teething phase?
All you can do to help your pug during its teething phase is to offer them soft and flexible toys which they can easily chew to soothe their gums. And if the toys didn’t help much and your puppy pugs keep on whining and drooling, you can go for the teething gel, which will soothe their gum. You can directly apply the gels on their gums or else apply them on their toys as when they bit or chew their loved toys, the gel would get transferred to their gum, helping in soothing and relaxing their gum and even reducing the gum pain which they are facing because of teething.
Should pug owners worry when their pug gets teething?
Most pug owners start worrying when their puppy pug is in the teething phase, and their chewing biting things nature keeps on growing day by day, causing discomfort in their gums. So let me make it clear for you that if your pug is happy, playing around, eating and doing other usual activities with biting and chewing, then your pug is healthy and fit, and you need not worry about them.
